Where do you do lessons?

Skeeter primarily does lessons at the Eddie C. Moore softball complex fields 8 & 9 in Clearwater, FL but she does travel and may be willing to come to you. Contact skeeter@powerline-softball.com to see if traveling to you for lessons is an option.

Do you teach Rotational or Linear Hitting?

Skeeter strongly believes that to be a great hitter you must have a combination of both rotation and a linear move to the ball. A linear approach to a rotational finish is often the best way to describe her teaching style, a style which is supported by USA Softball. Skeeter will take your athlete's current skill and work to maximize that player's potential. She does not believe in making each hitter the same or in "making each hitter hit her way." She recognizes the differences in each hitter and works on an individual basis to maximize each player's skill.

What do you offer players traveling from out of state?

If you are a player traveling a great distance to attend lessons please contact lessons@powerline-softball.com to setup your trip. A housing agent will make sure that your lodging is taken care of at a discounted rate.

What is the Powerline?

Powerline is simply the line in which your body is the most powerful. There is a Powerline in each skill that we do in softball. For example when you are playing catch with a partner before practice. The Powerline is the imaginary line that runs from you to your partner and anything that take you off of that line will take away from your power. So, if you step to the left of your Powerline half of your power is headed to the left of your target and the rest is directed at your target thus you are losing power.

What is your cancellation policy for lessons?

Please be respectful and give a minimum of 24 hour notice if you need to cancel a lesson. When given 24 hour notice, Skeeter can in most cases find another athlete to take your time slot. IF missing lessons becomes a regular occurrence you may be forced to forfeit your time slot.
